In order to recoup the costs of the project, there is a registration fee for industry attendees equivalent to a bronze sponsorship level if your company is not already sponsoring the project.     Travel and accommodations costs for invited attendees (academic/nonprofit members of the PARASOL workgroup) will be covered by the project.

    The meeting is planned to begin at 8 AM on Wednesday September 23 and conclude by 3:30 PM on Wednesday, September 23. Please plan your travel accordingly.

    Flights:

    ✈️ Workgroup members: Due to limited staff capacity, we would ask that you book your own flights and submit receipts for reimbursement after the meeting. Instructions for reimbursement will follow via email.

    💺 We can reimburse economy fares only. If you choose to upgrade, please book the economy fare first and pay for your own upgrade separately. 

    Please note that if your travel dates differ from the meeting dates, we can reimburse the lower amount of 1) the price of an itinerary arriving September 22 and departing September 24, or 2) your actual airfare. 

    🚍 Airport transfers: The hotel does not provide an airport shuttle. It is approximately a 10-minute drive from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA), 30 minutes from Dulles (IAD) or 1 hour from Baltimore-Washington (BWI). We will reimburse taxi or rideshare fares to/from the airport.

    It is also easily accessible via Metro (Rosslyn station on the Blue Line; from DCA, take the Blue Line in Downtown Largo direction for 5 stops, then walk 2 blocks).
